Pricing Information

I do this work because I believe in the healing power of ritual and community. Each service is highly customized, but the work typically includes an initial meeting, followed by research and coordination on my part. Celebration of Life Services typically include life story reflections, a few readings, prayers, and a selection of recorded or live music.

Celebration of Life Service
$500

There are many variables, and every service is created anew. Components typically include:

  • We’ll talk about the person who has died, your vision for the service, music, speakers, and readings. I’ll ask about people who can offer different perspectives—perhaps a niece, neighbor, or coworker. This meeting can be in person or via Zoom.

  • Time spent researching, corresponding, writing, and rehearsing the service script.

  • I connect with the venue and participants about setup, sound, and other logistics.

  • Day-of coordination with the funeral director or venue manager to help everything run smoothly.

  • I lead the celebration of life, typically 40–60 minutes. Services with a “committal” may be longer.

Graveside Service
$150

A graveside or committal service takes place at the final resting place, which could be a grave or a niche in a columbarium.

If the Graveyard Service is a stand-alone, it does not include a eulogy, music, or multiple speakers and typically lasts 10-15 minutes. When this is held immediately following the Celebration of Life Service, there is no additional fee.

Loss of a Beloved Pet
$100

Losing a pet is hard. This is the soul that you loved and who loved you no matter what. It may help us to begin to process the grief of the loss of a pet to gather friends and family for a ceremony of sorts.

This can be whatever you want it to be. Maybe there is sharing of stories and pictures. Maybe there is singing. Perhaps a group walks the favorite walking route you used to take. Gather the people who matter to you for a memorial ceremony because sharing the stories is an important human act of love.
