• Close-up of a cardholder with a name card labeled "Abigail Pribbenow, Memorial Celebrant," in front of a blurred artistic vase with branches.

Abigail crafted a narrative that authentically embodied the unique qualities of our loved ones. The simple service that she envisioned and carried out illuminated their heritage, and gave me a real chance to say goodbye. I feel sure we will always remember the service.

  • Flowers in striped vases with a name card saying 'Abigal Pribbenow, Memorial Celebrant' on a marble surface.

Abigail was very proactive on speaking to a few members of the family for inspiration and details to make the service more personal. Abigail took it upon herself to create a momento for the participants to remember my parents! That was so touching and was extremely meaningful to all of the friends and family. I would highly recommend Abigail.

I wish to offer my highest possible recommendation of Abigail as the designer and celebrant of funeral and memorial services. Abigail implemented a gentle process of thoroughly getting to know who these people were, and who we were as a family.

  • Two small ceramic vases on a table containing assorted flowers and grasses, with a business card labeled 'Abigail Pribbenow Memorial Celebrant' in front.

In the midst of an unexpected and tragic loss, Abigail was the voice of calm and reason. She guided us through the process of planning what our family wished for, a non-religious memorial service that had depth and meaning. She interviewed many people who knew our loved one, and wove together a beautiful, personal eulogy. We are so thankful for finding Abigail.

  • Our family knew we wanted to have a funeral service for my husband that represented him uniquely, that allowed us to through symbol and ritual to honor his life. This required an officiant that could connect with, understand, and help us make sense of so many pieces. Abigail did that and more. My husband’s service was a perfect reflection of the man he was, and gave all in attendance the opportunity to know him better. Her ability to truly listen to us, allowed her to provide the best guidance. We are truly grateful for her service.

Personalized Rituals That Resonate

Every life is unique - and every farewell should be, too.

Abigail works closely with families to create ceremonies that honor not only who someone was, but how they lived, what they loved, and what they are passing on.

A hand holding a milkweed plant with open seed pods releasing seeds into the air.

At a service for a 91-year-old woman who had been a beloved kindergarten teacher, Abigail wove meaningful symbolism into the ceremony. At the burial, Abigail opened a milkweed pod, letting a few seeds float on the breeze. The seed pod was then passed around for gathered family and friends to do the same while Abigail read the poem Milkweed by James Wright.

“Thank you so much for (the) touching service. The milkweed seeds made a very lasting impression. Our granddaughter took some home to plant in her garden and our son is going to place some in the kids’ garden.

The service was very meaningful and a very good way to say goodbye to my spouse of 68 years.”
